The repair enhancement was not done at all. The maintenance person arrived and appeared confused about what I was asking for and said he could not do anything to satisfy my request. This after a more senior maintenance person specifically told me that this could be done. I was asking for additional weather stripping on the inside or outside of the door to my work unit to eliminate the gap between the two doors to my workspace where air can escape and dust and air can enter the unit. I am totally dissatisfied with the outcome of this service request.
Lived in this building for 3 years, and after keeping my place incredibly clean with very little wear and tear, Broadway charged me over 300 dollars for a cleaning fee and kept the other 300 dollars of my security deposit to cover "repairs" that were not even done before I lived in my unit.
Stay away! Not only will they take your security deposit even if you are a model tenant, but your packages will definitely get stolen, you will be kept up at night by loud parties on the rooftop, and security does nothing to keep out large groups of people who seemingly have no connection to the building.
When I initially moved in, during COVID in 2020, this place was WAY cheaper than the other luxury communities in DTLA. Now, the prices are NOT worth dealing with management and the other annoying components of the property.
My family went on our tour with Representative Lance and we were elated! We were greeted by hospitable staff members and enjoyed the displayed unit layouts. This place has some of the best amenities to offer. Thank you for welcoming us to your "palace."
Been here for about 4ish months now, and honestly really enjoy it.
Neighbors are friendly, staff has been nothing but helpful, location is prime, amenities always available. Pablo and miguel from the maintenance team are efficient, helpful, and super respectful of being in your space when need be, nothing but good things for me so far!
Luxurious apartments with corrupt management. Stay away from this place! I wish I can give zero stars. They are not trustworthy whatsoever. They will find every way to exploit you and dismiss their responsibilities as landlords. There are several incidents of car vandalisms and thefts that regularly occur in the parking garage and the management not only fails to provide adequate security in the parking spaces that they charge us so much money for, but then claims no accountability for it. They run away from all liabilities. I moved out from one unit to another, and within 2 weeks I noticed a bed bug infestation in the new unit. I immediately notified them and had the unit fumigated. I later received an $800 bill and was told that I am responsible for this pest control fee when it clearly states on the lease and California law that they are liable for it, especially when I just moved in. When I tried confronting the office manager, he kept telling me that he would look into it and get back to me, or would just completely avoid me. It was never taken care of and I was forced to pay this unjust charge! Not to mention that didn’t return my deposit. This place is full of crooks and it was an overall horrible experience that I regret being involved in.
Can y’all stop saying thank you for feedback and apologizing but instead actually do something about complaints. I live at broadway palace and I am getting fed up with the lack of security. Homeless people have been getting access to our building on several occasions because the garage isn’t enclosed. Our trash cans in the garage are ran through and dumped all over because they aren’t secured. It’s really just as simple as putting actual gates in the garage. That damn simple, but I guess it’s never happening. The garage is so filthy it’s oily and slippery. The amenities we have aren’t our amenities to have if we have to pay the same price as external people who don’t pay rent. To rent a space in my own apartment building almost cost just as much as rent. Why would I pay $2,000 for a space Which i for a few hours in a building that I pay over $2000 a month to live in? Other apartment complexes don’t do this. It’s very predatory to me. This is why many amenities in broadway go very undervalued and underutilized because it’s greedy.most likely won’t renew my lease. Also, it’s convenient that Broadway has a suite available for a hotel like stay, but it costs $250 a night with a cleaning fee which is well over our rent rate. If you do the math 250 x 30days is $7500. Last time I check there’s no $7,500 apartments in the building nor is the space worth it if spaces aren’t clean or safe. If management is wondering why the north lounge sits empty so much, then they can take a wild guess. I see the space collecting dust because of the ridiculous pricing.
Took a tour today to look at an apartment and was completely blown away by what I saw and how I was treated. Mark took me around and showed me a two bedroom. It was so great. The amenities were fantastic. When I got back to the office I was introduced to the staff (Chris, Stephanie, Andrew and someone else who’s name escapes me sorry). Everyone seemed infested and enthusiastic about where they work. I’m not looking for a place until August but I will be back.
Nice building, but my car was stolen from the underground parking while I was away on vacation. Talking to friends and this apparently wasn't the first time something like this has happened. In addition, my friends were told by the management that the building would not be putting out any kind of notice to residents that the theft had happened, which is what really prompted me to leave a review. The thieves literally opened the gate by hand to drive the car out. Effectively no security for who has access to the parking structure; people can walk in off the street and down to all the levels. They've parked an empty police car by the entrance but who knows how long that will stay.
